confidns founded their own label ‘diamond black metallic’ in 2017, as a platform for releases and remixes by friends and admired producers of the techno scence’s old and new generation. the 12” debut on diamond black metallic will be released in summer 2017 with the confidns tracks extase and promisk, as well as a dark, powerful and refined remix of extase, produced by nobody less than chris liebing.
over two decades ago, roland leesker would play and produce with artists that are legends today. slaving away with ricardo villalobos in his living room, creating loops with john selway at new york s satellite basement, working as a light jockey for joe jam and marc spoon, cooking the heat together with cajmere and ata at the wild pitch club, or running various record shops around the globe. since then, he’s invested much of his time, knowledge, heart and soul into electronic music to further the scene and support the art. now, he’s returned to the studio with his production partner philipp maier also known as sante to bring you a new instant classic, ‘my warehouse’ in a way, you could say ‘my warehouse’ has been in the making for 25 years. in that time roland leesker has studied the music, gathering inspiration from the sounds, people and experiences along the way and putting them all together to create his perfect sound. ‘my warehouse’ is a bass-laden house killer, with intense kicks and a gritty, in-your-face bassline.
lucy is back on clr with another one of his mind-bending, deep and hypnotic techno productions. those who have already appreciated his unique approach to modern techno in previous tracks will surely like the 201 phasing ep by the berlin based, italian dj/producer.
on psyks new eclipse ep, clr finally releases a track that chris liebing has been playing all summer long on all kinds of occasions. eclipse formed an essential part of countless of his sets, which says a lot about the quality of this outstanding production.

chris finke (flux/atomic jam) delivers the dance floor goods with his fresh 12inch release on gynoid audio moofish. the original sees big room production fused with an acid like riff aimed at melting minds and moving feet. on remix duties are none other than mark broom, whos pulsing remix takes things deeper, dj hi-shock and his hypnotic re-interpretation and go hiyama moves away from the usual >4 on the floor< to deliver an atmospheric, broken beat, idm influenced mix. supported already by the likes of: luke slater, xhin, drumcell, tommy four seven, wehbba, audio injection, chris liebing, gary beck, gayle san, markus suckut, tom hades, and more!
support by: adam beyer, technasia, the advent, dave clarke, dubfire, chris liebing, secret cinema, justin berkovi, joel mull.... here we go with the roots of dark techno, michael schwarz now shows up with the basic track of fauna, that was remixed on pt. 1 of this package by justin berkovi. fauna is nothing less than a masterpiece, so it draw the attention of alex bau immediately and he hook up with man behind the secret moniker floom. the guys delivered what you would expect anyway whenever you read their names: total dedication to techno in its basic sense. big support from all the techno-guys around!
and last but certainly not least. the fifth episode to complete the five releases in the run up to the much anticipated 10 years of clr compilation. hold on to your hats people. the final finale, chris liebing presents his very own contribution to this 10 year anniversary compilation.

BEHIND A GREEN DOOR (INCL MATTHIAS TANZMANN & CHRIS LATTNER RMXS)
12 Inch 06.04.10
the second release on the fledgling luna records label sees germanys dan drastic set forth with the killer >behind a green door<, backed up with stellar remixes from matthias tanzmann and chris lattner.
juan pablo pfirter and gary beck, two of the most uptodate technojerks these days, are the openers for the remixseries on alex baus credo imprint. delivering 10 high class techno releases over the last 3 years alex felt it was time to see how other professionals deal with his soundmaterial, and the first remix 12 inch could not be better. pfirter with a remix that couldnt be more fat while gary beck chooses the more dark approach with an enormous drive on the bass. this is a statement, and the following remixes from people like chris liebing, secret cinema, perc, jonas kopp, remute and drumcell will have to perform well to keep the level! top techno productions, just as you are used to on credo!
alex finishes some dark experiements in the lab with this first outing the black series from credo. from time to time you can expect some really dark approaches to the technoside of life. the kick off now with the dark summer nights, pt1 flows constantly and pushed forward through some low chords which finally return to a super low bass-driven drumming pattern. the second part is kind of fragmented, alsways evolving and finally finding the way to an rolling end, somehow even more dark than part one. this is gets huge support already from the likes of len faki, speedy j, chris liebing, gary beck and the other usualy credo-suspects. the bacl series will be strictly limited to 500 copies onlyfor each release!!!
for release n° 28, long-time clr artist alex bau returns with two massive new tracks full of good ideas and positive energy. chris liebing had the pleasure to play out the disaster-mix for quite a while and to convince himself of the unexceptionally sensational crowd reaction. the rhythm is permanently varying, the atmosphere often changes immediately and the sounds come and go in surprising ways.
the flashback-mix is wonderfully thrifty and has a powerful bass. alex bau once more shows versatility and dedication to experiment with rhythmic and sonic possibilities. the slow building and the subtle use of beat variations and breaks underline the almost mesmerizing effect of this outstanding groove.
chris liebing considers the clr 28 the best alex bau release on clr so far and is already looking forward to your comments and critics.
support by : carl cox, renato cohen, martin eyerer, chris liebing, citizen kain, xpansul, someone else, tom pooks!!! an hybrid sound, explosive and melodic. in the higher reaches of electronic music a new label appears intending to disrupt our habits. proposing an alternative to the stereotyped dance music and the boring minimal, basilic records permits new talents to release their maxis. the founder of this label is not focused on exclusive type of electronic music, he is keen on hard-tech as well as minimalism. the only condition is a brilliant techno sound dedicated to space.
played already by the usual famous suspects from adam beyer to chris liebing, felix kröcher, oliver huntemann or technasia who always grab out the tracks from alex the method tracks will again work on the floor for sure. alex trademark, his fat basslines, combined with clear and precise drumming gain the next level of colorful techno-entertainment these days. full method jacket is the one for the peaktime with atmo-changing breaks as triple chain method will delight all the fans of slower, groovy minimal techno
support by: adam beyer, technasia, chris liebing, perc, brian sanhaji... side b from tokyo are the guys being responsible for a huge follow up release on kumo. a very interesting definition of modern flavoured techno, rolling and stomping at the same time. hazakura changes it character several times, turning from a groovebased effectmachine into a spacy peaktime-track while daybreak more focusses on the crunchy side of minimal techno. the tracks already caught the attention of alex bau so that he delivered a bau-like bass-driven technoremix for hazakura.
both tracks written and produced by chris liebing at studio one. (a1) supported by ali (deepdish)!! the a-side >bangpop< is at first obviously driven by a central bassdrum. little by little, it steps into the background and makes room for the fine and striking, hypnotic sequences. that sounds good already, but gets polished by a snaredrum that simply makes you happy. a little hit? we wouldn t be surprised. on the b-side we are facing >puckelbop<, a 12 minutes long monster. a good example for how efficiently a bassdrum and a sequence can clear an aisle into a forest. no tree will remain standing – theyll move! clr20
after his work with speedy j for their 2005 released metalism album, chris returns with his first solo production to date. first part out of 2 from the a,b,c,d ep ,with tracknames a and b are a slew of funky minimal, proggy techno aimed at the dancefloor.
